From a young age, I was a numbers person. I developed a personal hobby/interest in finance and investing going back to my early career as an industrial engineer. Technical sales stints rounded out my work experience prior to the decision to pursue a new career as a financial advisor 15 years ago.
I remember as a young adult, my grandfather instilled in me, “to whom much is given, much is required.” Being responsible with finances and leaving a legacy for future generations is import to me. I enjoy sharing this vision with clients and helping them to work toward their own personal objectives and goals, whatever they might be.
My wife and I have been married for 41 years, and have lived in the KC area for over 30 of them. When not in KC, you will often find us visiting our two children and their families. We are blessed to be “Papa and Nana” to our four young grandchildren. (Soon to be 5!) Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, you will also find us enjoying the mountains of Colorado. Whether it be skiing, hiking, biking or just taking in the beautiful scenery, we love our time in the Rockies.
Over the years I have worn many different volunteer hats. What I have always enjoyed the most was being part of a team, learning the “story” of others, and figuring out how I might best contribute for all to succeed. With BMG’s team focus, and a motto of “Plan Your Story,” I knew they’d be the perfect fit for the clients I serve and me.
